Ordering Policies:
How do I order?
We have taken care to ensure ordering from Stork Candles & Suds will
be an easy and pleasurable experience for you. Simply Browse the catalog
using the navigation menu on the top of the screen and when you find a
product you would like to order, enter the quantity you would like, choose
your options for that product, and then click 'order'. You can continue
shopping until you are ready to complete your transaction. Once you add
items to your cart, you can easily change quantities or remove them before
you get the payment screens. Once you have finalized your order you will
receive an order confirmation email detailing the transaction.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Currently we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, Check and Money
Orders. If you are paying with a credit card, please make sure your name
and address is entered exactly as it appears on your card and billing
statement. We will not be held responsible for any cash sent via the USPS,
please use an alternative form of payment. If paying with a check or money
order via the shopping cart your payment must be received within 10 days
to prevent your order from being canceled. Orders paid for with a personal
check will be held 7 days prior to shipment to ensure clearance of payment.
Stork Candles & Suds reserves the right to implement a $35.00 service
charge on all checks returned to us Non Sufficient Funds.
Is your shopping cart secure?
Absolutely! For Internet orders we use Mal's-e shopping cart system, which
is a common Internet system that resides on a very secure server.
Do you accept orders outside of the Internet?
While we prefer orders be submitted via our web site, we do accept orders
via mail and fax. Simply print out our order form

Can I use your products in a fundraiser for my school or sports functions?
Of course you can! We have a wonderful fundraiser program complete with
sales aids and order forms. Please visit our fundraiser

Will I be charged sales tax?
A sales tax of 8.25% is added to all orders shipped to Texas addresses.
Sales tax will not be charged on shipments to recipients outside of Texas.
Wholesale orders are required to submit their Texas
Resale Certificate to take the benefit of a tax-free purchase.
What if I need to cancel my order?
Orders may be canceled within 48 hours of being placed at no charge. If
you need to cancel after this time there will be a $10.00 restocking fee.
Are substitutions available if you are out of the product I ordered?
Of course, if we should be out of a certain product your order will be substituted with a product of equal or higher value.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Your satisfaction is our priority. We want to make sure you are 100% satisfied
with all products ordered. Due to sanitary reasons we cannot accept returns
on personal care items or issue refunds once they are shipped. If you
are not happy with your purchase, you may exchange your product within
14 days of receipt of merchandise for another product or request a store
credit towards a future purchase. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable
unless there was an error in filling the order. Please inspect your order details carefully. We can not be held responsible for errors in color or spellings of any personalized products. All products must be returned
in good unused condition otherwise an exchange or store credit will not
be issued. Please email us at storkcandles@gmail.com for directions on
how to exchange your product.
In the event you would like an exchange of a defective product there are procedures that need to be taken:
- You must contact us via phone or email before returning any product. Any returns without personal contact will not be honored.
- Product must be returned for verification of defect.
- Upon verification, any replacements will be in the same scent as the original and any credits will be for store credit only. Since your original order has already included shipping charges, you will not be charged again and your return shipping charges will be credited back to you.
We will try to come up with a solution to your problem that will make all of us happy. However, we can refuse the return and that decision will be final. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Shipping Policies:
How long before I receive my products?
Once an order is placed production begins immediately. Currently the turn
around for orders is 5-10 business days on all products including personalized favors.
This does not include shipping which can be an additional 5-7 days depending
on your location. The only exception is Handmade Soap, which can
take as long as 3 weeks to process due to curing time. If you are ordering
for an event, please place your order in plenty of time to allow for processing.
You will be notified of any delays with your order should they arise.
How do you ship?
We are now shipping all domestic (48 states) orders via FedEx Ground and
2nd Day Air only. FedEx will not ship to a PO Box address, therefore an
actual street address is required. We do not offer FedEx Saturday delivery.
All packages shipped via FedEx include insurance and can be tracked with
the confirmation number provided in your shipping confirmation email.
We are only using USPS Priority Mail for Alaska and Hawaii.
We currently only ship to the US and Canada. For all orders being shipped to Canada we use USPS International AirMail which can take anywhere from 7 to 14 days for delivery.
What are your shipping charges?
Our current shipping charges are as follows:
$0 - $25................................$8.50
$25.01 - $50.........................$9.50
$50.01 - $75.........................$11.50
$75.01 - $100.......................$13.50
$100.01+..............................$15.50
Do you offer rush shipping?
In the case that you may need rush shipping please contact us prior to
entering your order. If it is possible for us to process your order we
will gladly provide rush shipping and will provide you with the additional
costs on a case by case basis.
Do you provide delivery within the local area?
Yes, within certain limitations of the Austin area I will deliver with
no additional charge. In the case that I am unable to deliver your order
you are welcome to arrange for pick up.
What if I receive a package that is damaged?
All packages are fully insured. If your package arrives in an unacceptable
condition, please do not accept it from the carrier. Contact FedEx immediately
at 1-800 Go FedEx if there is any damage or breakage. Our responsibility
ceases upon delivery of your order from the carrier. You must get a claim
number from the carrier.
